WorkCover Queensland is a government owned body that provides insurance for workplace injuries.
If you are injured at work you may be eligible to make a claim for WorkCover Queensland benefits including physiotherapy services.
Before we can claim the cost of your treatment from WorkCover, you will need to lodge a claim and have the claim approved by WorkCover. If your claim is still pending, but you wish to receive treatment, you will need to pay as a private patient. To find out more about making a claim please visit the WorkCover Queensland website.
Injurynet covers employees of Australia Post, Coles, Myer, Telstra and Woolworths liquor groups.

If you are injured at work and covered by this program you will need to report to your manager. You will then go to an Injurynet registered doctor who can refer you for physiotherapy treatment.
If the number of physiotherapy treatments exceeds the allowance under this program, you may need to lodge a WorkCover claim.

We also look after injured workers from Australia Post and StarTrack, who are under JobFit.

COMMON WORK INJURIES
OVERUSE INJURIES
Overuse injuries develop when a worker repetitively overloads their body during activities such as lifting, typing, gripping.

Symptoms can arise due to damage to soft tissues such as muscles or tendons. Overuse can also be related to poor working conditions and incorrect work environment setups.
BACK & NECK PAIN
Back and neck pain are commonly seen in office workers and workers who have physically demanding jobs.
Poor posture, inadequate muscle strength and poor work environment can contribute to back and neck pain.
SPRAINS & STRAINS
Many workers suffer ligament sprains or muscle strains. These can occur when a worker over stretches, twists or overloads a joint or some soft tissue.

Soft tissue sprains and strains are common work injuries which respond well to treatment.
